which way nigeria

the banking Industry has experienced a shake-up that can be compared to non the world over. Even during the wake of the failed banks era, it was not this bad. Reports reaching us is that two private jets belonging to oceanic bank has been flown out of the country.

The CEO's of Oceanic bank, Intercontinental Bank, FIN Bank, Union Bank and Afri Bank are all undergoing one form of trial or the other as we speak

  1. God alone knows where this would take us, but come what may, we cannot allow the banks to crumble cos that would mean our economy going down with our dignity.

  3. well as a matter of fact, i think we Nigerians should begin to eschew all forms of tribal bias from our system. if it was Soludo that implemented this change, would we have said it was an Igbo Agenda??

  6. They should get the fool arrested

  7. as a matter of fact, getting him arrested will definitely not solve the problem, I even think that, they should not have been removed in the first place, they should have been monitored and after the sums have been recouped, they can then be put in jail

  8. educate me pls, wat would puting them in jail achieve?

  9. it will achieve the same measure that we all have been aiming for since time immemorial

  10. well, Jam for me its not a case of just putting them iin jail, its checking the essence of such a measure, is it punitive or corrective, if its either of both, then peoples monies will never come out, and that's not the essence of this exercise i presume

  14. Jail...They are more conversant with where all the money is cos they gave all of it out...they should be monitored and given deadlines to do the recoveries themselves, now that is more like taking care of the damage and not bugging the front pages of the papers with their faces like they are the ONLY defaulters in the country...EFCC pls some priority or try finish up the other open unsolved cases...my suggestion for EFCC, there should be an 'Open Unsolved Unit' for their PENDINGS...
